Jacob (Jake) Walmsley, a native of Kansas, has nurtured a lifelong passion for automotive work, particularly with cars and motorcycles. This interest led him to pursue diesel mechanics during his high school years. Following his graduation, Jake honorably served in the U.S. Army, including a significant tour in Afghanistan. Upon completing his military service, he transitioned into the civilian workforce as a Lube Technician at a prominent New York dealership.
Jake's career took a pivotal turn when he was offered a unique opportunity by the family of a fellow car enthusiast, prompting him to relocate to Charlotte, North Carolina. There, he specialized in the niche area of water leak repairs. During this period, while collaborating with various dealerships, Jake met his now fiancee, Cheyenne, in Columbia, South Carolina. The couple's relationship flourished, leading Jake to move to Elgin, South Carolina to be closer to Cheyenne and their newborn child. He secured a position as a Service Advisor at a car dealership in Lexington, South Carolina, while Cheyenne works at another dealership in Columbia.
Despite his new role, Jake found himself yearning to return to his specialty in water leak repair. Conversations with both dealerships revealed a significant demand for such services in the region. Bolstered by the encouragement of his family and the support of local dealerships, Jake launched his own business dedicated to water leak repairs in January 2024. Based in the Columbia area, he is committed to expanding his enterprise and delivering exceptional service to his community.
